In our English lessons with our 4-year-old students, we have begun activities designed to support fine motor development by strengthening hand and finger muscles, thereby fostering the foundational skills needed for writing and drawing.

While exploring the topic of Weather, our students learned related English vocabulary and discovered elements of nature as well as the days of the week. Through a colorful rainbow collage activity using EVA foam, they enhanced their hand–eye coordination. Patterning and sequencing activities further supported the development of logical thinking and problem-solving skills. In an activity where they created family members using playdough, students both reinforced the concept of family and engaged their imagination.

Through these enjoyable activities, our students’ language, motor, and social skills were supported simultaneously, transforming the learning process into a fun, holistic, and enriching experience.
