Being an Izmir SEV student means growing up both academically and socially. It means not just accepting information as it is but questioning, researching, observing and commenting on it. It means to be self-confident, to feel comfortable while expressing himself/herself , to follow Ataürk’s ideals and principles, to have national values, to show awareness to the social needs and know to share.

Being an İzmir SEV student means to be a part of big family. It means to know his/her own culture by heart while getting to know the  wealth of other cultures. It is to be aware of individual responsibilities, to be democratic and be a member of the youth to whom Atatürk left the Turkish Republic to be looked after.
