As part of World Philosophy Day, we hosted a parent-inclusive event titled “A Journey with an Idea.”

Our journey with ideas began with a creative drama workshop and continued with a philosophy session.

During the first part of the event—the creative drama workshop—our teacher, shared a story illustrating how an idea can sprout and grow in our minds just like a seed. Following the story, parents and students brought the journey of an idea to life through the frozen image technique and engaged in creative thinking exercises focused on the concept of ideas.

After the drama session, participants moved to the library to read the book “What Can You Do with an Idea?” Using the book as a starting point, they reflected on and discussed questions such as “Does it matter what others think about our ideas?” and “Can a single idea change the world?” Examining information cards provided to them, they explored individuals who have changed the world and selected the person who inspired them most to present to their peers.

At the conclusion of the event, participants shared their thoughts on the “A Journey with an Idea” workshop, marking a day filled with reflection, inquiry, and inspiration.
